Communications Committee

The Communications Committee works together to provide thought-provoking, informative and engaging information about the Greater Hazelwood area and the Pittsburgh area in general. This committee is responsible for publishing the monthly newspaper, the Hazelwood Homepage, as well as maintenance of this website. Each month, members of the committee scour the community uncovering information relevant to its readers. The Hazelwood Homepage newspaper circulation is well over 3,000.  

Committee members are Lucille Kennedy, Kelli Herd, Jim McCue, Joan McLaughlin, Lisa Kunst Vavro, Theresa Chalich and Rose Velgich.

We have opportunities for anyone interested in all aspects of publishing including reporting, editing, proofreading, photography, layout and design.
