MEMBERSHIP

The Hazelwood Initiative, Inc., is always seeking new members to join its general membership body. Membership lasts a calendar year from January to December. The cost of joining is only $12 per person. Only those living or owning property or a business in the Greater Hazelwood area can become a member at this point. Meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the second Tuesday of every month at the Carbarn located at 5344 Second Avenue.

Once a member, consider becoming more involved by joining your committee of interest. The membership committees include Membership Recruitment and Development, Finance, Communications, Special Events, Planting and the Planning/Housing Development Committee.

Volunteering is an act that shows compassion for our fellow brothers and sisters and is something that should be performed year round. Improving the lives of others is something to which we should all commit a portion of our time. Becoming a member of a neighborhood community based organization is a wonderful opportunity to share your opinions, voice concerns and affect change, not just for you and yours, but for the community as a whole.
