Planning/Housing Development Committee
This committee is a forum for discussion, input, and action on development-related issues in Hazelwood. Issues on our agenda include: Mon-Fayette Expressway; Hazelwood Initiative's new housing project; development of the ALMONO (former LTV site) property; re-use of the former Carnegie Library building; restoration of the Woods House.
The committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 PM at the HI office at Second and Johnston Avenues. All interested community residents are welcome.
Members of the committee include Fran Bertonaschi, Alex Bodnar, Carl and Kris DiPietro, Joe Elliott, Joanne Evans-Gardner, Lisa Kunst Vavro, Jim McCue, Jim Ryan, Matt Smutts, and Sam Strati.
